Shany Dagan

Shany is an International performer, choreographer, and artistic director.

She moved to NYC in 2012 and graduated from the American Musical and Dance Academy. She is a Broadway Dance Center Professional Semester alum and a trained aerialist with the Warehouse Circus.

Shany has also been a personal trainer for 15+ years, and 3 years ago, she had the opportunity to develop her own “BARRE SCULPT” Method class and teacher training program for the renowned “Locker Room” gym in TLV.

Shany is a proud member of the Board of Directors for SpectorDance Company under the direction of Fran Spector Atkins, which is located in Monterey, CA.

Her performance credits include Disney, Thistle Dance- Art Of Sin, The Little Mermaid at Fireside Theatre, Christmas Wonderland, Le Grand Cirque, RWS, Hope the Musical, Holland America Cruise Lines, Dancing With The Stars and NBC.

On November 2023, Shany developed, directed, and choreographed 3rd GEN, a new original show, which just made its Off-Broadway debut at the KnJ Theatre in November 2024. We are excited to present it again on January 25th for International Holocaust Memorial Day in honor of 80 years of liberation from Auschwitz!

This is a dance memoir with original music that features personal survival stories about the events of the Holocaust and the Second World War.
